How to Connect Your WhatsApp Account to Waply
Connecting your WhatsApp Business account to Waply is quick and easy. In just a few simple steps, you'll be ready to automate your customer conversations and never miss a message again.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A Facebook Business Account (Meta Business Suite)
- A WhatsApp Business Account linked to your Facebook Business
- Access to the phone number registered with WhatsApp for OTP verification
Note: If you don't have a WhatsApp Business account yet, you can create one during the setup process.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Navigate to Settings
After logging into your Waply dashboard, click on Settings in the left sidebar menu.
Step 2: Go to Integrations
In the Settings menu, find and click on the Integrations tab. This is where you can connect all your communication channels.
Step 3: Install WhatsApp
Look for the WhatsApp integration card and click the Install button. This will initiate the connection process.
Step 4: Login with Facebook
A popup window will appear with the Facebook Embedded Login. This is the official Meta authentication process.
- Click Continue with Facebook
- Enter your Facebook credentials
- Grant the necessary permissions
Security Note: Waply uses the official Meta API and never stores your Facebook password. The connection is secure and encrypted.
Step 5: Select Your Business Account
After logging in, you'll see a list of your Facebook Business accounts. Select the business account that has your WhatsApp Business number linked to it.
Step 6: Choose Your WhatsApp Account
Next, select the WhatsApp Business account you want to connect. If you have multiple numbers, choose the one you want to use with Waply.
Step 7: Verify with OTP
For security purposes, Meta will send a one-time password (OTP) to your WhatsApp number. Enter the 6-digit code to verify ownership.
Step 8: Connection Complete!
That's it! Your WhatsApp account is now connected to Waply. You'll see a success message confirming the integration.
